Aug 10, 2007 - We arrived from our 7 hour stay in the airplane ready for Hawaii. Normally the flight is only 5 hrs 20 mins from San Francisco to Honolulu. The airplane failed a "safety check" which resulted in us being held captive at the airport gate for 2 hrs. The hotel made it worth the wait. I "upgraded" the room to a mini-suite with ocean view.. wow.. what a view!! Wolfgang Puck Pizza and Coldstone Ice Cream (just downstairs) allowed us to settle in.
